This fascinating attraction is only 30 minutes drive from Leighton Buzzard. The WWII top secret code breaking site is now open to visitors. See the famous enigma machine, exhibitions, vintage vehicles, Churchill memorabilia, computer museum, model railway plus much more. The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is a 25 acre working Steam Museum with one of the UK’s largest collections of locomotives, rolling stock and railway memorabilia. The Centre offers steam train rides on certain days. As well as the 1890s station, there is an impressive Visitor Centre – the former Oxford Rewley Road Station - with Refreshment Room, Gift Shop, a Royal Dining Coach from 1901, and a coach used by Winston Churchill and Dwight D. Eisenhower for secret war strategy planning meetings.
