This year's Living History Day commemorates World War I. Come along to the High Street for displays and interactive demonstrations of wartime life. See how soldiers would cook, what weapons they used and what their first aid arm post would consist of. There will also be an Army Signal School for Children and the opportunity to receive some WWI training including drill experiences and marching. An original WWI Bi-plane will be positioned in the town centre accompanied by a pilot and crew. There will be an opportunity to have your photograph taken whilst sitting in the cockpit.
There will be loads of interesting things to do for the whole family plus there will be live music from the RAF Halton Voluntary Band and local “Voice in a Million” star, Fiona Harrison, will be singing WWI songs

Each Halloween, Crafty the Crow invites all his friends to see the treasured Golden Pumpkin at his Halloween Spooktacular – the biggest Halloween party in town. But this year someone is up to no good, because the Golden Pumpkin has been stolen… but who by? Surely not Pongo the Pig? Or Sheena the Sheep? Or maybe Barry the Butler did it. Come in your scariest Halloween costume and help Sally the Scarecrow solve the ghostly goings-on.
Crafty’s Halloween Spooktacular is a 45-minute song-filled, action packed performance – the perfect length for 2-7 year olds - after which the adventure continues as each child gets the chance to play Trick or Treat with Crafty and his friends, and receive a special spooky gift.

If you like dancing, making friends, listening to music and a spot of tea then why come along to a Wednesday tea dance at Leighton Library Theatre. This is your opportunity to waltz, tango, cha cha cha and quickstep. You will be entertained with a wide range of music and will receive complimentary tea or coffee and biscuits which will be served throughout the dance. If you are a bit rusty or if you haven’t danced before, no need to worry as there will be a workshop so you can learn all of the right moves. Sundays from June to September
There are free concerts in the park held at the bandstand in Parson's Close Recreation Ground in the centre of Leighton Buzzard on many Sundays throughout the summer. They begin in June and continue throughout the summer until September. The concerts feature top bands from the surrounding counties including brass, military, jazz and more.
