Leighton Buzzard Brewing Co opens it's doors to it's unique comedy club. Live on the factory floor. Enjoy stand up comedy, craft beer and a unique night out. With a different line up each month, no night is ever the same. This event regularly sells out so it is recommended to book in advance. The brewery is on Harmill Industrial Estate on Grovebury Road.
Doors open at 7pm with performances from 8pm. Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door.

The Leighton Buzzard Carnival is the longest running community event in the town and the official carnival website has loads of fascinating photographs some dating back to the 1950's. they even have a photo from the 1924 carnival. The carnival procession will start in Linslade and progress through the town, ending at Parsons Close where there will be a fairground, events, stalls and more.

The Canal Festival is one of the biggest events in Leighton Buzzard with over 9,000 visitors attending last year. Set along the canal and in the beautiful setting of Tiddenfoot Water Park this is a great day out for the whole family. There will be live music, entertainment, rural craft displays, stalls, food and more. Due to the popularity of previous years the stage programme, stalls, food and bar opening in the Paddocks area will stay open until 8pm with the rest of the festival closing at 5pm as usual. Nominated for "Community Event of the Year", RetroPlay is returning to Leighton Buzzard for a third year. This spectacular movie / TV, gaming and comic book themed family fun day will immerse visitors in a world of silver screen fantasy. Visitors can interact with an incredible collection of iconic replica vehicles, and meet and greet their favourite Superheroes and legendary movie characters! There will be attractions for all the family including, TV and Film props, stalls selling toys, collectibles, comics and more. There will be competitions, special guests and a retro gaming area with a range of retro consoles and games.
Last year the event welcomed close to 1200 visitors and raised £1500 for Kids Out. This year the organisers are raising money for Keech Hospice Care.

Sundays from June to September
There are free concerts in the park held at the bandstand in Parson's Close Recreation Ground in the centre of Leighton Buzzard on many Sundays throughout the summer. They begin in June and continue throughout the summer until September. The concerts feature top bands from the surrounding counties including brass, military, jazz and more.

If you like dancing, making friends, listening to music and a spot of tea then why come along to a Wednesday tea dance at Leighton Library Theatre. This is your opportunity to waltz, tango, cha cha cha and quickstep. You will be entertained with a wide range of music and will receive complimentary tea or coffee and biscuits which will be served throughout the dance. If you are a bit rusty or if you haven’t danced before, no need to worry as there will be a workshop so you can learn all of the right moves. If you are a resident of Leighton Buzzard or Linslade why not join the Leighton Buzzard Over 55's Film Club. This is a great opportunity to see a film at a great price - all tickets are just £2.60 (plus £1 booking fee) which includes refreshments.
