Sundays from June to September
There are free concerts in the park held at the bandstand in Parson's Close Recreation Ground in the centre of Leighton Buzzard on many Sundays throughout the summer. They begin in June and continue throughout the summer until September. The concerts feature top brass and silver bands from the surrounding counties.

Leighton Buzzard Music Club’s new season opens with two brilliant musicians sponsored by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. “Mediterranean Music” by Ravel, Debussy, Manuel de Falla, Paule Maurice, Henri Busser and many others.

Leighton Buzzard Brewing Co. present Comedy at the Brewery. Up and coming circuit comedians perform in the town’s very own brewery. Come along for great comics and superb beer. The brewery is on Harmill Industrial Estate on Grovebury Road.
Doors open at 7pm with performances from 8pm. Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door. There is limited space in venue so recommended to book in advance.

John Lawson's Circus is back with all the thrills and spills you would expect from the UK’s favourite family Circus. The Big Top will be at Pages Park on Billington Road.

The Leighton Buzzard Railways' annual bike show 'Sand & Motorcycles' will be held in Pages Park Leighton Buzzard on Sunday 28th September 2012. Fascinating range of motorcycles, vintage and contempory will be on display, the criteria is "anything that can be legally ridden with a motorcycle licence" so be ready for anything. There will also be trade and club stands and live music.

Rushmere Country Park’s Tree Tops Café is proud to support local suppliers of fresh, quality produce and are holding a Local Food Festival celebrating the great quality local produce this area has to offer. Come along and experience a taste of the local area's finest producers.
The Food Festival will feature a variety of food and drink stalls from across the area, food demonstrations and tasting opportunities, hog roast, outside bar and BBQ. Local catering colleges with information on training as a catering professional. Fun activities for kids, including a bouncy castle and food festival experience trail.
This promises to be a fantastic local celebration of food and drink - come and join in the fun.

If you like dancing, making friends, listening to music and a spot of tea then why come along to a Wednesday tea dance at Leighton Library Theatre. This is your opportunity to waltz, tango, cha cha cha and quickstep. You will be entertained with a wide range of music and will receive complimentary tea or coffee and biscuits which will be served throughout the dance. If you are a bit rusty or if you haven’t danced before, no need to worry as there will be a workshop so you can learn all of the right moves. Leighton Buzzard Railway will celebrate 50 years since the initial formal meeting held in October 1967 which led to the formation of the preservation society.
A special train service will be in operation each day with nine departures from Page’s Park to Stonehenge Works. They plan to have ten steam locos in action, four of which are over 100 years old. In addition to passenger trains there will be demonstration freight trains. These are likely to include the LBR’s log carrying wagons, World War 1 rolling stock and a train of LBR sand carrying skip wagons typical of those that were operate by the sand carrying railway.
At the end of the afternoon on Saturday 30 September at approximately 5pm, LBR hope to stage a parade of working steam and diesel locos at Page’s Park Station on Billington Road. Alan Keef will also be available on both days to sign his brand-new book, Motor Rail Catalogues.
This will be a great day out for rail and steam enthusiasts young and old.

Barnstormers Comedy is one of the leading promoters of stand-up comedy. Barnstormers have had numerous superb comedians grace its stages over the past decade including Sarah Millican and Greg Davies. This is a great opportunity to see a film at a great price - all tickets are just £2.60 which includes refreshments. These can be purchased in advance from Leighton Buzzard Theatre box office.
